POTTERY LESSONS

COVID Precautions

With new CDC Guidelines and COVID numbers decreasing every day, we have decided to return the studio setup to pre-social distancing.  There is still 3 feet between wheels and six feet across.  I am looking forward to returning to a time where we can feel connected with one another.

Masks in the studio will now be optional with the exception of Allergies.  If you have allergies to the point that is is causing you to sneeze or cough, you will be asked to wear a mask out of courtesy to others in the studio.  I don't think we have quite returned to a time where we can freely be coughing and sneezing in the studio, but if you are symptom free, you are welcome to remove your mask if you wish.

Class Information

The next 6 Week Course will begin the week of SEPTEMBER 13th

and conclude on OCTOBER 23rd

New Student Registration will go live on Sunday, August 29th at 1pm

Current Students & Studio Members have first options on classes, so it is possible that some classes may not have availability on the day of New Student Registration.

If you would like to be in the know when New Student Registration is Open/Live, sign up for our email list so you don't miss out!

Classes will take place in six-week increments. In every six week cycle, we will make our way through the pottery process which includes: throwing on the wheel, trimming, and glazing. In the first five weeks, we will focus on making work, and in the final week, we will all glaze together.  All classes are for individuals 18 and older, with the exception of a Saturday teen class.  The teen class is for individuals 14-18 years old.  Currently, we do not offer any classes for young children.

Please keep in mind that sign-ups are for a specific class time on specific dates.  Twisted Clay no longer offers make up classes for beginners since they are not yet ready to work independently.  If you are not a member, and you are in a beginner 2 class and above I will still be able to offer you studio time to make up for your missed class if you arrange this at the start of the six weeks session.
