The gift of pottery is such a creative and thoughtful gift. I know this first hand as I first discovered my love of pottery because I was gifted one month of pottery classes at a small pottery studio 13 years ago and I was hooked from the start. If it weren't for that thoughtful gift, I might have missed out on such a huge part of my life. I would like to think I would have eventually found clay, but truthfully, I am not sure it would have happened.
Whether or not your loved one finds a lifelong hobby or simply enjoys six weeks learning a new skill is yet to be seen, but either way, it is a wonderful gift.
You have two options when purchasing clay classes for a gift.
Purchase just the classes. This has a cost of $240 and pays for the big cost of classes but the person you are giving this gift to will be responsible to purchase their own toolkit and their first bag of clay as these things are not included in the class fee. Toolkits are $25 and clay is $15. So your loved one will need $40 on their first day of class in order to acquire these items.
Purchase the classes and all that is necessary to get started. The cost for this is $280. The price is the same its just all in one amount. This will allow your loved one to get started on classes with zero cost to themselves.
Both options are very generous gifts as either way you are making something more accessible that would otherwise be a cost consideration in getting started. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions. Otherwise, click here to get started
